This time I wanted to knit a suit for my doll in
a dark blue color. I found a little
pattern looking through some Old Norwegian pattern for sweaters. I have used
this pattern for doll clothes earlier and like it very well for that use.
I have knitted this pattern round the legs ...
… and round the sleeves of the dress
I have done the decreases round the shoulders in the round, and I think it worked out fine. Between the decreases, I have knitted this same little pattern
Round the legs, I have knitted a row of eyelets above the pattern and thread a chord through the eyelets bound together along the outside of the legs in a bow
Beautiful suit for a lovely doll I thought when the suit was finished!
Then I knitted a jacket in light blue to wear when the days are cold
Along the front band, I used shiny buttons
It has a pattern along the frond band and round the sleeves. Round the waist, it has a row of eyelets and a chord pulled through it
At last, I knitted shoes in grey to wear to these clothes. The shoes have a little row crocheted in light blue round the soles
I liked these clothes very well dressed on my beautiful doll!
I hope you will enjoy the pattern and knit it for your doll!
To fit the jacket I knitted a cap with the same pattern as for the jacket. First, I knitted the edge with the pattern for this cap
Then I picked up sts along the edge and knitted the pull after. I also knitted a bow and sewed to the top of the cap
