A gorgeous celebration dress for your doll 

Model 0127D ISA LOTTE - Dress, Cap, Pants and Shoes 
(This pattern fits 17" - 18" dolls like American Girl doll, Baby born and Alexander doll)

I had some lovely soft yarn at my house in Silk Alpakka and decided to knit some nice clothes for celebration for my dolls.  I saw a nice little pattern in an old leaflet with patterns for clothes for baby and small kids.

... this pattern would do very well for a lovely wide dress for celebration for the dolls. With small crocheted edges round the edge, the sleeves and the neckband, the finished dress was beautiful.  The pink dress is knitted in the Silk Alpakka yarn.  However, ...

 ... I wanted to see how it worked out in thin merino baby wool.  I therefore knitted the white dress in this yarn for Baby born and liked the result.

The pants I knitted in stocking sts.  Then I crocheted edges round the legs and round the waist.  Then I made a chord and pulled through the eyelets.

... of the hat has crocheted edges as well.  It also have a border of the pattern knitted before knitting the top.  A very nice hat to this dress.

At last, I knitted small socks with a little pattern and crocheted edges.

At last both doll were beautiful dressed in garments for celebration.
